Whitney Crittenden is the Assistant Area Management Biologist at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G). Whitney's job centers around the management of commercial fisheries for salmon, herring, shrimp, sea cucumber, red urchin, and geoduck clam and subsistence and personal use fisheries in the Ketchikan management area. Her day to day varies depending on the season, whether it's conducting salmon aerial surveys, underwater counting sea cucumbers, or utilizing satellite imagery to map herring spawn.
